The variety was obtained by crossing Ambra and hybrid 438-432. The fruits are characterized by their large size, with an average diameter of about 61 mm. The skin is reddish-black, the flesh is amber, and the taste is sweet and sour.
The plant has a vigorous upright growth habit and stable high productivity. The variety shows tolerance to anthracnose and powdery mildew, while susceptibility to leaf scald and angular leaf spot has been noted.
The fruits ripen early; under California conditions, they ripen in late May or early June. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and the sale of the harvest in fresh form.
