Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety ripens in early to mid-September, approximately 30–40 days after the «Shiro» variety. The trees demonstrate stable and high yield. Flowering occurs early, therefore the variety is at risk of damage from spring frosts. The variety is largely self-fertile and can be used as a pollinator.

The fruits are spherical in shape, with light yellow skin with a greenish hue and juicy sweet yellow flesh. The average fruit weight is 100 g, with a maximum reaching 150 g. The variety has good keeping quality; the fruits can be stored for about a month and are suitable for transport and fresh consumption.

The plant has sufficient winter hardiness for regions where Japanese plum is cultivated. In phytopathological studies, the variety was noted to be susceptible to infection by the phytoplasma Ca. Phytoplasma prunorum.
