The variety is an interspecific hybrid of plum and apricot, selected from a group of seedlings in 2004. It is propagated by grafting and budding; in documentation, it is also found under the synonym Green Red IV.
The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and high productivity. It belongs to self-incompatible varieties. Maturity is late: in California conditions, the first harvest occurs in mid-September, while ripe fruits are able to remain on the tree for about twenty days.
The fruits are uniformly large in size and have red skin coloration with a greenish background. The variety is intended for gardening and use as a table fruit crop.
