The variety was identified during breeding work with the local Quercus cerris gene pool under selection code Qc.245/11. Plants of this variety are intended for use in avenue plantings and cultural landscape gardening.

To preserve varietal qualities, this variety is propagated vegetatively via grafting. The studied forms belong to the category of elite nursery stock for woody plants.
