Variety description

Medium-sized tree with a broad-conical or rounded crown, reaching a height of 8–10 meters and a width of 3–4 meters at maturity. The variety belongs to the Laciniata group and is distinguished by the fine texture of its foliage: the leaves are deeply dissected, green in summer, turning yellow-brown in autumn and potentially remaining on the branches until late winter.

The bark of the tree is dark gray or blackish with deep furrows, and the shoots are relatively thin. The tree is winter-hardy (zone 6a, down to -23 °C) and exhibits resistance to wind and road salt exposure. The variety is prone to bark cracking during severe frosts and does not tolerate paving of surfaces around the trunk.
