Variety description

The variety forms elongated roots of a bright pink color with firm and crunchy white flesh. It is not a black radish, but belongs to the radish (radis rave) group.

The variety is heat-tolerant, which allows it to be sown in open field from May to August with subsequent harvest until October. It requires thinning to 8 cm between plants and regular watering to prevent excessive foliage growth to the detriment of root formation.

It is used as a table variety for fresh consumption. It is a traditional heirloom variety that is in the public domain.
