Root vegetables have a round or slightly oval shape with a diameter of 8–12 cm and a weight of 250–400 g. The skin is colored black, the flesh is pure white, firm and juicy. The period from germination to technical maturity is 53–75 days.

The plant forms a vigorous leaf rosette. Sowing is recommended in the second half of June or in July to prevent bolting. The variety requires regular watering, as a deficit leads to coarsening of the flesh and the appearance of cavities.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption and winter storage; under proper conditions, it maintains quality until spring. An heirloom variety type, also known as Black Spanish Round, suitable for transportation.
