The variety is characterized by a low tendency to flower with rapid biomass formation at the beginning of the growing season and high resistance to lodging. The primary purpose of the crop is use as a summer catch crop for soil improvement, erosion prevention, and accumulation of organic matter.

The variety possesses complex resistance to pathogens: it effectively suppresses the beet cyst nematode and does not promote the reproduction of the root-knot nematode and the northern root-knot nematode. The variety is also capable of limiting the development of free-living nematodes, which are vectors of potato viral disease.
