The variety is intended primarily for use as a green manure. It features intensive development in the initial period, ensuring rapid canopy closure and weed suppression, and also has a developed root system for improving soil aeration and water balance.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to a number of soil-borne pathogens, including beet cyst, root-knot, and root-lesion nematodes. It also provides protection against the tobacco rattle virus, which reduces the risk of scab formation on potatoes. In its vegetative development, the variety is distinguished by late flowering, which allows the accumulated biomass to be maintained for longer.
