Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to late-maturing and late-flowering forms, forming a long, thin taproot. Due to its pronounced phytosanitary properties, the plant is classified as a 1st-class resistance variety to the beet cyst nematode, reducing its population by 90% or more. It also exhibits resistance to root-knot nematodes and Alternaria.

The plant is used as a cover crop to improve soil structure, suppress weeds, and prevent erosion. In crop rotations with potatoes, sugar beets, and vegetable crops, the variety acts as a "break" crop to disrupt the development cycle of soil-borne pests.
