Doublet is a low-growing plant with dark green leaves in the rosette and white-violet flowers. The variety possesses high early growth vigor, covers the soil quickly, and demonstrates the ability to regrow after mowing. No lodging is observed in the plants; winter hardiness is maintained at temperatures down to -6°C.
The root system of the variety is represented by a long taproot penetrating to a depth of up to 2 meters, which contributes to the improvement of soil structure. The variety possesses high resistance to beet cyst nematodes and root-knot nematodes, as well as to clubroot of crucifers. It is characterized by extremely late flowering during spring and autumn sowing.
