The variety has a medium tendency to flower and medium to strong early growth vigor. It is characterized by lodging resistance corresponding to category 3 according to the adopted classification.

Tajuna is a variety resistant to the beet cyst nematode (Heterodera schachtii), belonging to class 2 with a resistance index of 0.1–0.3. The variety also demonstrates resistance to the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne chitwoodi.

The crop is intended for use as a green manure for accumulating organic matter, preventing nutrient leaching, and improving soil condition due to its deep root system.
