Early-maturing perennial rhubarb variety. The plant is characterized by rapid leaf regrowth; petioles reach a length of 35–50 cm and are noted for their succulence, with virtually no fibrousness.
The variety possesses cold hardiness and resistance to lodging. The produce is suitable for fresh use, as well as for the preparation of compotes, fruit drinks, and baked goods. Propagation is possible by seeds or by division of the crown.
