The variety is a hybrid of the Belgian group, obtained by crossing the varieties Reinhold Ambrosius and Mistral. The plant belongs to the species Rhododendron simsii Planch.
The flowers have a double form and a light-pink color. The anthers are purple, the throat of the flower is lighter than the main petals. The variety is intended for cultivation as a pot plant.
