The variety was obtained by crossing the Ben Lomond variety with a hybrid carrying resistance genes from gooseberry. The plant is distinguished by vigorous growth and forms an upright bush, which ensures good resistance to lodging.

The variety ripens at the end of July. Berries are black, glossy, medium-sized, gathered in long strigs, and detach well during harvest. The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, leaf spot, and big bud mite, which makes it suitable for organic farming.
