Variety description

The variety has a medium-height, compact, upright bush 1.2–1.5 m tall with strong shoots. Flowering occurs late, which protects the flowers from spring frosts. The variety is self-fertile and resistant to lodging.

The berries are black, glossy, with a weight of about 1 g and a diameter of up to 1 cm, possessing a rich taste with distinct acidity. Fruit ripening occurs at the end of July — beginning of August. The berries are not prone to shedding and tolerate transport well, suitable for processing.

The variety possesses resistance to powdery mildew, but shows susceptibility to the blackcurrant gall mite and gall midge. Due to late ripening periods, it allows for extending the harvest season of blackcurrant.
