The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Ben Lomond and ND 17/7. The plant is characterized by a high upright habit of the bush and an early flowering period.
The berries of the variety are distinguished by a high content of anthocyanins, including in clarified juice, which determines the suitability of the harvest for the industrial production of food products and juices. The variety is used as a reference standard when evaluating morphological traits in official protocols.
