The perennial shrub reaches a height of 1.2–1.5 m and forms a spreading, rounded crown with sturdy shoots. It is often offered for sale in standard form. Small mauve-tinted flowers are gathered in drooping inflorescences.
The berries are large, spherical, 0.8–1.2 cm in diameter and weigh up to 1.2 g, translucent, white or yellowish-white in color, sometimes with a pinkish tint. The taste is dessert-like, sweet with a refreshing tartness; the berries are aromatic and suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
The variety is mid-early, enters the bearing stage in the second year, and yields 5–7 kg per bush. Frost resistance reaches -40 °C. The plant is characterized as low-maintenance and disease-resistant.
