The bush is vigorous, reaching 1.5–2 meters in height, with a spreading shape and medium-thickness shoots covered with numerous strong thorns. The variety is mid-early; fruits ripen in mid-July.

Fruits are large, weighing about 15 g, oval, ovoid, or spherical in shape. The skin is thick, red, turning dark-purple at full maturity, and covered with hairs. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, and sweet-and-sour.

Fruits ripen almost simultaneously, do not crack, and remain on the bush for a long time without dropping. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness down to -30°C, however, it requires regular chemical protection due to high susceptibility to American powdery mildew.
