Clayton plants are distinguished by high growth vigor and form a spreading bush. The fruits are oblong in shape with thin skin. The color of the berries is reddish-brown, more intense on the sun-exposed side; the surface is smooth or with slight pubescence in the sepal area.
The variety was considered productive but had a pronounced susceptibility to powdery mildew. Currently, the variety has no industrial significance and is considered a rare collector's specimen, with almost no information available regarding its origin.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
