ActiveRibes uva-crispa L. · Gooseberry

10 August 2026
The bush is medium or weak in vigor, has a hemispherical shape and a relatively sparse crown with a medium degree of shoot thorniness. When grown in a standard form, the crown forms irregularly, and the shoots are prone to drooping, which requires shortening pruning.
The fruits are medium or large in size, spherical-oval, covered with thin, translucent skin of a light yellow-green color, sometimes with red specks on the sunny side. The variety is demanding of soil fertility and moisture; it is recommended for garden plots.
