The Early Sulphur variety, also known as Sulphur, is an old European form bred in the 19th century. The medium-sized berries have a characteristic golden-yellow or mustard hue and pubescent skin; the fruits are distinguished by high taste qualities.
The plant is an upright thorny bush with high growth intensity. The variety matures among the first in the season, starting from late May or early June. The main disadvantage of the variety is a strong susceptibility to powdery mildew, characteristic of old European varieties.
