The bush is characterized by compact growth with shoots tending to droop slightly, and reaches a height of 100–150 cm. The shoots have thorns, however the variety is considered less prickly compared to a number of other varieties. Winter hardiness corresponds to zone Z5 (from -28.8°C to -23.4°C).
The berries are large, dark red in color, round in shape, with smooth skin. The fruit remains on the bush for a long time. The variety possesses resistance to American powdery mildew and leaf drop diseases.
