The shrub is upright or slightly arching, reaching a height of 100–120 cm. The foliage has a reddish tint in spring, turning dark green during the summer and autumn periods.
The cup-shaped flowers, 7–10 cm in diameter, possess a pronounced old rose fragrance. The variety is repeat-flowering and suitable for use in mixed borders, hedges, or for cutting.
The plant prefers sunny sites with fertile, well-drained soil. The variety is considered hardy, however, under unfavorable conditions, it may be susceptible to diseases typical for the crop, such as powdery mildew or black spot.
