The variety Harteam (commercial name Twiggy's Rose) is a deciduous bushy plant of the floribunda group, sometimes classified as a shrub rose. The foliage is glossy, dark green, with serrated edges; the shoots are prickly.

The flowers are double, cup-shaped, colored pale pink and have a light fragrance. The flowering period lasts from late spring to autumn.

The plant prefers sunny sites with a wind-protected exposure. The variety is undemanding to soils and grows well in sandy, clay, loamy and chalky soils with a neutral, acidic or alkaline pH, provided there is good drainage.
