Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the floribunda Southampton and the hybrid tea rose Typhoon. The plant is a compact shrub 50 to 100 cm tall. The large, glossy dark green foliage has a bronze-red tint on young shoots.

The flowers are 7–10 cm in diameter, have a pitcher or cup-shaped form, and contain 26–40 petals. They are gathered in loose clusters of 3–7 per stem. The variety is repeat-flowering; blooming continues from early summer until autumn and is accompanied by a moderate fragrance.

The plant has high resistance to major fungal diseases and winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–9. It is used in landscape design for flower beds, borders, mixed plantings, and container cultivation; it can also be grown in standard form.
