The variety Ave Maria (breeding number KORav) is an upright, compact bush with a height of 120–150 cm and a width of about 100 cm. The plant possesses dark green glossy foliage. The large double flowers include about 35 petals and have a pronounced fragrance.

The flowering of the variety is repeat and continues from June until autumn. The plant is characterized by good resistance to rain and major diseases. Frost resistance corresponds to zone 6, which implies withstanding temperatures down to -18...-23 °C.

This variety is suitable for use in single and group plantings, container cultivation, the creation of hedges, and is also a sought-after material for cut flowers.
