The variety belongs to the floribunda group; in international classification it is known under the name Heckenfeuer, and the synonym Hedgefire is also found. The variety was obtained as a result of crossing an unnamed seedling and the variety Diablotin.

The flowers are characterized as blood-red with an orange tint, highly double, with a light fragrance. The variety is long-flowering and is used in ornamental gardening.
