The variety forms flowers 10–12 cm in diameter with a pointed bud. The plant is recurrent, characterized by abundant second flowering. In individual cases, it may form red-orange hips.
The rose is winter-hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -26 °C (USDA zone 5b), and also possesses drought tolerance. It is resistant to diseases, however, it may show sensitivity to black spot.
It is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping flower beds, creating hedges, and for cut flowers.
