The variety with breeding code Meibrelon is known under the trade name Special Event and the synonym Rose de Burdigala. The plant is a shrub rose, which in some classifications is categorized as a hybrid tea.

An adult bush reaches a height of 100–120 cm. The flowers have the shape characteristic of hybrid tea roses and are colored in bright lilac tones with lighter petal edges. The variety possesses a strong, intense fragrance and exhibits remontant properties, providing reblooming with proper care.
