The variety belongs to the polyantha rose group and forms a fairly vigorous bush. The foliage has a bronze tint and slight matte finish when unfolding; mature foliage is moderately dark green with medium gloss. The leaves consist of 5–7 oval-shaped leaflets with a pointed tip.

The buds are characterized by a dull dark pinkish-red color, opening into small but hardy flowers of a saturated red shade. Flowering continues throughout the summer. The variety possesses good disease resistance and is intended for ornamental landscaping.
