The Pitica variety is a natural mutation of the Sonia Meilland variety, which was first discovered in 1971 in the greenhouses of Mr. Roy. In documentation, the variety is also encountered under the name Kyria.

This variety belongs to the group of roses intended for professional floriculture and cut flower cultivation. Information regarding morphological characteristics or disease resistance is absent in available publications, as the variety is primarily mentioned in the context of breeding history and intellectual property rights.
