The variety is a tall shrub obtained as a result of breeding wild populations. An important characteristic is the absence of thorns on the shoots, which facilitates maintenance and harvesting. The plant is photophilous, possesses good winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and is adapted to the climate of Bulgaria.

The fruits are large, elongated in shape, crimson-red in color, with a mass of 1.7 to 2.4 g. The pulp content is 60–62%, and the vitamin C concentration reaches 2000 mg%. The variety is late-maturing, ripening in September. Yield in the 3rd–4th year reaches 500–1000 kg per decare, and up to 20 fruits form on a single branch.
