The shrub reaches a height of 100–150 cm. Foliage is dark green, glossy, with anthocyanin coloration on the edges of young leaves. Spines are reddish-brown, concave, and occur rarely.
Flowers are deep yellow and consist of 15–25 petals. The variety is distinguished by almost continuous flowering; the fragrance resembles that of a wild rose. A cut flower maintains freshness for up to 18 days. The variety is winter-hardy and adapted to the climatic conditions of hardiness zone 6.
The plant generally does not produce fruit. It is used in landscape design for parks, gardens, and large flower beds.
