The variety Poultc012 (commercial name Explosion Border, synonym Edmonton Border) is a shrub rose 40 to 60 cm in height. The plant is distinguished by a bushy habit and high growth vigor, which allows it to be used for creating dense carpet plantings and hedges.

The flowers of the variety are semi-double, 5–8 cm in diameter, containing 15 to 25 petals. The coloration is characterized as purple-red with pink stripes along the central vein. Flowering continues throughout the season; the variety is resistant to external conditions and tolerates pruning well.
