The rootstock was developed as part of a program to improve the base for cultivating cultivar roses. Its application is aimed at optimizing the quality of cut flower products, increasing the number of stems, and the total yield from each bush.

The PRO series of rootstocks, to which this specimen belongs, is characterized by increased tolerance to bacterial infections, in particular to Agrobacterium. Using this rootstock allows for a reduction in the need for chemical treatment of plants during their industrial cultivation.
