The Romanza series combines roses with cup-shaped or rosette-shaped flowers that resemble old-fashioned varieties. These plants are intended for planting in borders, flower beds, group plantings, and for cultivation in containers.

There is a variety Romanze of German breeding by Tantau, which is an independent shrub rose with deep pink flowers, a bush height of 115–150 cm, and high disease resistance. It should not be confused with the Romanza branded rose series by the Meilland company.
