The variety belongs to the floribunda group. The flowers are characterized by a salmon-pink shade, which in descriptions is also defined as azalea color.

During the period following its introduction, the variety was widely represented in the commercial assortment of GDR nurseries. It was used in landscaping, in particular, for creating color transitions in landscape compositions.
