Variety description

The bush is upright and branched, reaching a height of 100–150 cm; the shoots are densely covered with thorns. The foliage is large, wrinkled, dark green, and acquires a yellow hue in autumn. The flowers, 7–10 cm in diameter, have a deep wine-red or purple-violet color.

The plant is characterized by a high content of red pigments in the flowers, shoots, cambial layer, and roots. The fruits are large, spherical, and red. Flowering is recurrent, lasting from June until frosts, with each individual flower lasting 1–2 days.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and frost resistance and is resistant to diseases, although spotting or powdery mildew may occur under unfavorable conditions. Suitable for solitary plantings, hedges, and container cultivation.
