The Veranda Roxanne variety is a floribunda rose intended for cultivation in containers and small gardens. The bush is compact, upright, 60–90 cm tall, with glossy bright green foliage. The flowers are dark red, double, contain more than 40 petals, and are gathered in inflorescences. The variety is repeat-flowering, possesses winter hardiness (USDA zones 5–9), and resistance to diseases.
A separate cut flower variety named Roxanne, used in commercial floristics, is distinguished. The flowers of this variety have a salmon hue. There are other plant varieties with this name, including varieties of Japanese breeding that do not belong to the Veranda group.
