The Sandra (SandKOR) variety, introduced in 1981, belongs to the hybrid tea rose group. Its color is defined as orange-pink; the fragrance is weak or absent. The plant exhibits flowering that repeats in waves throughout the entire growing season.

The winter hardiness of the variety corresponds to USDA zones 6b to 9b. There is information regarding the use of the variety as a cut rose, including in greenhouse conditions, although some studies also mention a possible classification of Sandkor as a floribunda rose.
