The variety forms an upright compact bush about 100 cm tall, reaching 160 cm when grown as a standard. The foliage is dense and dark green; young shoots have a reddish tint and a small number of thorns.
The flowers are cup-shaped, double, about 8 cm in diameter, and have a moderate fragrance. Flowering lasts almost continuously from May to November. The variety has good disease resistance and is suitable for growing in flower beds, mixed borders, and containers.
