Variety description

The variety has the trade name Austriana and the synonym Brooklands. The plant is a compact, well-branched shrub 50 to 80 cm tall with a spreading growth habit and dense, glossy, dark green foliage.

The flowers are flat-cupped, 5–8 cm in diameter, have a bright red color, yellow stamens, and a mild fragrance. The inflorescences are semi-double, consisting of 8–15 petals. The variety is characterized as self-cleaning and repeat-flowering until frost.

The plant possesses high resistance to fungal diseases, rain, and heat. The variety is intended for landscaping, use in group plantings, and slope stabilization; it is not used for cut flowers.
