The variety "Winter is Coming" (synonym "Pegasus", breeding code ROJlix) is part of a series created using wild species and their hybrids to obtain high winter hardiness and resistance to temperature fluctuations, winds, and drought. The plant is intended for landscape design, including the creation of hedges and solitary plantings.

The plant combines features of shrub and climbing roses. The height of the bush exceeds 200 cm with a width of 100 to 160 cm. The flowers are simple, gathered in large inflorescences. The variety is characterized as exceptionally healthy, tolerating drought and heavy rains well.
