The variety belongs to the summer-fruiting group. The plant forms semi-erect canes of medium or large length with a small number of dark spines; the number of replacement canes is medium or large. Leaves have noticeably long petioles and a slightly wrinkled surface.

Flowering is early or mid-early. Flowers are small or medium, located on long, slightly prickly red peduncles. Fruits are aromatic, with a balanced taste. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to the aphid Amphorophora rubi.
