ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The Fall Gold bush is vigorous and branched, reaching a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters. Upright shoots have a medium degree of thorniness and are covered with a waxy bloom. Large berries weighing from 4 to 10 grams have a rounded or conical shape and a golden-yellow or amber-orange color.
The variety is remontant and bears fruit in two waves: on biennial shoots in mid-summer and on the tips of young shoots from August to October. The plant has high frost resistance down to -30...-32°C, drought tolerance, and resistance to diseases and pests.
The berries have a sweet, aromatic taste with hints of pineapple. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing. Due to the significant height of the bush and abundant fruiting, the variety sometimes requires tying to supports.
