The variety was obtained as a result of crossing 'PSI-737' and 'PS-1509'. The plant is of the everbearing fruiting type with an upright or semi-upright habit. Leaves are ternate, with strong rugosity and medium intensity of green color. On young shoots, there is a medium density of spines; the waxy bloom is weakly expressed or absent.
Berries are light red in color and have a pronounced conical shape. The variety is adapted to the conditions of the Central Coast of California and demonstrates good resistance to diseases and pests. It is used both for the fresh market and as genetic material for breeding.
