ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing Lloyd George and Pruská varieties. The bushes are erect, medium-density, with medium height and purple-brown shoot coloration. The plants do not require support structures and possess high resistance to fungal diseases.
The fruits have a mass from 2.4 to 3.1 g, a shape ranging from spherical to elongated, and a saturated red color. Harvesting occurs from the end of June to mid-July. The taste of the berries is sweet, with a pronounced aroma; they are suitable for universal use, including for juice production.
Cultivation requires moderately fertile, humus-rich soils with good water-holding capacity and a sufficient level of lighting. The variety does not tolerate waterlogging and requires regular pruning of spent canes.
