ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is a vigorous plant with strong growth energy and upright stems, forming a large number of shoots. The berries are large, have a conical shape and bright red color; the taste is characterized as pleasant and lively.
The plant is distinguished by high winter hardiness. Historically, the variety has demonstrated relative resistance to the raspberry mosaic virus and certain types of aphids, which contributed to its active use as a source of genetic material for breeding new hybrids.
