The variety RubyChic (HFG 1714) is remontant and capable of fruiting on both current-year and previous-year shoots. The plants are characterized by high growth vigor and active shoot formation. Exceptional bud break is noted when fruiting on previous-year shoots.
The berries of the variety are very large, conical in shape, and have a subacid flavor. The fruits possess high firmness. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation for the purpose of sale in the fresh market.
